Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Day

We’d like to invite you and your family to help us serve lunch at the Ronald McDonald House (711 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43205) on Tuesday, June 16 from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Sign-up at the bottom of this page so we can make sure we have an accurate headcount!

We’re looking forward to serving individuals and families that rely on the Ronald McDonald House! Here are the details for that day:

Team Cuisine Lunch groups should arrive around 9:45am. Because we are secured building, we ask that all volunteers check in at the front desk where you will be directed to Volunteer Headquarters while the rest of your team arrives. The Chef will get the group from HQ and take you to the kitchen at 10:00am to begin prepping and cooking. Once everything is ready (about 11:30am) your group will serve our families until about 12-12:30pm. You won’t need to bring anything with you for the meal, just come ready to get cooking! Our chef will have a menu planned and ingredients/stations set up for your team.

We’ll also need each member of the group to complete a waiver of liability, you can do that electronically beforehand or when you arrive: http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer-waiver/.

The ideal dress code for meal preparation/serving includes:

– Any hair past the shoulder, pulled back into a pony tail
– Closed-toed shoes
– Long pants
– Short sleeves or longer

Meal groups are limited to 15 people

Only group members over the age of 14. If there are minors, an appropriate amount of adults needs to accompany them and be included in the count (15).
